As a Digital Learning Specialist, you will collaborate with team members to conceptualize, design, and develop personalized academic courses for our eLearning students. Serving as a Digital Learning Specialist, your day-to-day role as an Alexandria Academy Institute consultant will include analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating innovative learning solutions for our clients.

Conduct student needs assessments and analysis, develop hybrid learning plans, and measure learning content impact

Promote the Digital Learning Service Offering with internal and external clients

May be required to author software simulations, interactive on-demand tutorials, electronic user guides, and other materials that are engaging and learner-centric

Strong background in instructional design, children and adult learning theories, and knowledge of cutting-edge digital learning trends

Must be able to demonstrate a consultative approach to developing, implementing, and evaluating dynamic and impactful learning.

Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory (such as ADDIE), learning principles, traditional and modern training methods, tools, and best practices

Proficiency in one or more digital learning authoring tools, such as Adobe Captivate and willingness to learn others as tools evolve

Familiarity with learning management software

Ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of related experience in relevant fields of study is required. An equivalent combination of advanced education, training, and experience will be considered.

Content management requires a versatile skillset—not only must you be able to write and edit digital content, but you’ll also need solid analytical and planning skills, knowledge of marketing and web metrics, and the ability to spot and capitalize upon emerging trends.
